How To Dye Long Hair

I have some useful tips for those of you intending to dye your long hair. With these tips, you will find that home hair-dyeing is but just a breeze. Let's take a closer look..
Before anything, you will need to determine the right dye color for your hair. Remember that not all hair dye will look good with on your hair color and some might not even be visible to boot. Ask the salesperson to recommend the best shades of the color you want. Also, consider how long you want the dye to be on your hair. There are different kinds of dye for this purpose; temporary, semi-permanent, demi-permanent and permanent.
Secondly, in the days leading to your hair dye, be sure to wash and condition your hair. You would want your hair to be well moisturized as dyeing dry hair can cause a lot of breakage. Next, you might want to test if you are allergic to the dye by applying a little dye on your forearm. When all that is done, you will just need to follow the stipulated instructions on the package of the hair dye.
An important reminder is to determine how much of dye you will need. I recall a situation where a friend of mine was halfway through dyeing her hair when she realized she had run out of it!
