Hairstyles For Curly Hair in 2010

Hairstyles For Curly Hair, Summer 2010 Edition

While there are those who try hard to get curly hair, those who are born with curly hair sometimes hate it. Anyone who has curly hair has got at least one haircut disaster story. Curly hair is extremely unpredictable where haircuts are concerned. Curly hair can be frizzy, unmanageable, a real source of frustration. There are certain things you have to do to maintain your curly hair, and some hairstyles are much easier to keep your curls looking great than others.

If you want softer curls, you don’t need to spend a lot of time or money to get them. Instead, separate your hair into five sections. Then use your fingers to come leave in conditioner through each section. Use about a dime sized amount. This will make your curls soften, and they will be easier to style. Then shake or scrunch the curls and you can style them however you would like to. If you want to dry your curls without them getting frizzy, then try a diffuser on your hair dryer. This will help keep your hair from being overly dried out and frizzed.

Another great idea is a layer cut for naturally curly hair. If you want to get a layer cut, you need to seriously consider texturing. To do this kind of cut, have longer layers cut on the inside of your hair. This will make the curls all lock together and there will be less expansion at the bottom of your hair. Instead, your hair will get more lift at the top of the head, which is exactly what curly hair has to have to look great.
