2010 Hair Trends for Kids, Boys

2010 Hair Trends for Kids, Boys

Boys want to look as good as girls do when it comes to their hair! The challenge though is that boys tend to want styles that will let them get out of the house faster, and that will be easy to clean. To this end, one of the biggest trends for boys hairstyles is to have short hair. Short hair is easy to maintain, style, and keep clean. There are several different kinds of short styles that will suit boys.

Crew cuts and spikes
are quite possibly the very best hairstyles for boys. Any boy will look cute in these styles. Crew cuts work well for boys who are very active, whether that be just playing on the playground or participating in a sport. This style won't get in their eyes or get caught on anything. Spiky styles are good for those who want something a bit different, but still easy to manage. Spiky styles can be varied – short spikes all over, or only in certain areas for example. This style can be adjusted to suit any boy's personality.

For those who don't want the crew cuts or spikes, a side swept look is a good choice. The hair is brushed to one side, making a sweep to that side. If a boy isn't as active, this is an excellent style. It's more grown up and is perfect for special events. A comb down is another good alternative to the spikes and crew cuts. This style is very simple. The hair is cut above the eyebrows and everything is just combed down. It's a bit longer on the sides and in the back, but is easy to manage and always a good choice.
