The first thing you need to do is to let your hair grow pretty long. As you know, emo hair is long in the front and short in the back, so you have to have that length to make this work. The cut should be short and spiky in the back with long bangs in the front that hang below your eyebrows. Your bangs should be angled with long layers. The hair around your ears should be angled too.
